Please note: The wind I'm referring to is not that strong. If you hang the chimes over a hard surface and the chimes fall, the birds will break. Also, keep in mind that the chimes ARE NOT wind chimes; you won't get the tinkling sound you hear with regular wind chimes.
All in all, the chimes, even with the two birds falling off are worth the purchase. We have ordered another set of chimes because they look great. I will be wrapping some clear tape around the lines/wires to give the birds some stronger protection.
The solar collector on top of the chimes captures enough solar power for the birds to light up all night long.
The chimes with all six birds is my mother-in-law's set of chimes. We purchased it for her enjoyment. She's 94 years old and enjoys watching the hummingbirds fly at night.
For the price, you can't pass these chimes by. Kids love them.
